数据分析公司S3 Partners的数据显示，截至6月30日，投资者们通过押注FAANG（Facebook母公司Meta platform、苹果公司、亚马逊、奈飞以及谷歌母公司Alphabet）下跌狂赚将近200亿美元。
“在过去一段时间内做空是很困难的，因为有大量流动性流入市场。”AdvisorShares Ranger Equity Bear ETF的投资组合经理Brad Lamensdorf表示，“然而，在过去一年左右的时间内，对我们（做空）来说是一个好环境。”Brad Lamensdorf管理的基金今年通过做空股票获得了22%的回报率。
Fleckenstein Capital总裁Bill Fleckenstein表示，“过去投资者逢低买入让做空变得非常困难，即使你对坏消息的判断是正确的，也没人在乎。”
